Jim began playing guitar before he was in high school. Jim has a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University and a master’s degree from the University of Santa Monica. His real love has always been music. During school he sang and played guitar.
Jim has always loved making music and entertaining people. Jim’s work includes entertaining as a solo Singer with his acoustic guitar and harmonica. Jim is a specialist providing wedding music and assisting for whatever you desire for the wedding. Jim does entertainment and DJ for any type of event that requires a high-quality DJ service. Jim frequently does full-evening Karaoke entertainment at public venues. His “Triple Play Band” has done small private parties and large community events of thousands of people.
Jim has entertained mostly in Illinois but has also performed in other states including Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and others.
Jim’s life is fully connected to music. He has entertained at private parties, corporate events, Christmas parties, birthday parties, children events, festivals, fund raisers, grand openings, picnics, resorts, special events, receptions, dinners, political and civic events, special programs and of course loves doing weddings and wedding receptions. Jim has performed at hotels, coffee shops, resorts, bars, taverns, country clubs, private homes, specialty venues and restaurants,
Jim’s vocal repertoire includes many hundreds of songs of popular music, country music, new and classic rock, and folk music. Jim provides a complete musical service with his wide variety of sound equipment that gives superb sound for an event of a few dozen people or for a function of many hundreds of people or thousands. As a solo singer/entertainer, Jim normally performs with an acoustic guitar and a harmonica.
